Instagram Unveils Exciting Upgrades: New AI Sticker Tool, Filters, and More!

Instagram is trying out a cool new tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to make custom stickers from your photos and videos. The app is also getting a bunch of other cool features, like fresh filters and useful tools.

Meta, the company that owns Instagram, has been regularly adding new things to the app for Android and iOS users. Now, they're introducing a bunch of exciting features, including a tool that uses AI to let you create custom stickers from your photos and videos.

To use this new custom sticker tool, just tap the 'Create' button next to the sticker search box. It's right there beside Poll, Quiz, and Add Yours. The AI sticker tool uses Meta's Segment Anything AI model, making it easy for you to create stickers from videos and photos in your camera roll or on the app.

It's simple to use—just like in iMessage. You can easily remove any object from a photo with just one click. If the sticker needs a little adjustment or if the AI didn't get it right, you can also choose the subject manually.

Once you're done, hit 'Use Sticker' to add the new sticker to your Reel or Story. This AI sticker tool is quite different from the existing one, which generates stickers based on simple text prompts.

But that's not all! Instagram is also working on adding 'undo' and 'redo' buttons for Reels. Soon, you'll be able to scale, crop, and rotate individual clips easily. The platform is also making it simpler to find features like Voiceover. They're adding 10 new English text-to-speech voices and six new text fonts and styles.

And there's more! Instagram is updating the Drafts interface, so you can quickly preview, rename, and schedule your drafts. When it comes to posts, the app is introducing 25 new photo filters, ranging from subtle color changes to expressive styles. Exciting times ahead for Instagram users!
