Rockstar Games just dropped a sneak peek at "Grand Theft Auto 6" (GTA 6), the much-anticipated next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. The action-packed trailer gives us a glimpse of the game's setting in Vice City, a fictionalized version of Miami, and introduces us to Lucia, the game's new female protagonist.

This marks a big moment for fans who've been eagerly waiting for a sequel since the release of GTA V in 2013, a game that went on to become the second best-selling video game ever. Set in Vice City, the trailer showcases Lucia and her partner diving into a crime spree, although the plot remains a mystery. The trailer's soundtrack is set to Tom Petty's "Long is a Long Road."

Ten years have passed since the launch of GTA V, which sold a whopping 185 million copies. Sam Houser, the Founder of Rockstar Games, expressed excitement about GTA 6, stating, "Grand Theft Auto VI continues our efforts to push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences."

Rockstar Games officially confirmed the development of GTA 6 in early 2022, and the release of the trailer aligns with the company's 25th-anniversary celebrations. The game is slated for launch in 2025 and will be available on Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, according to Take-Two.

While the developer hasn't mentioned other platforms, it seems that GTA 6 might not be available on PC initially. Stay tuned for more updates on this thrilling new addition to the Grand Theft Auto series!
