Four astronauts from different countries have safely returned to Earth after spending six months living and working aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Led by NASA's Jasmin Moghbeli, the crew included Denmark's Andreas Mogensen, Japan's Satoshi Furukawa, and Russia's Konstantin Borisov.

Their journey back to Earth began as their capsule re-entered the atmosphere, streaking across the sky before splashing down in the Gulf of Mexico near the Florida Panhandle in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Jasmin Moghbeli, a Marine helicopter pilot, was in charge of the returning crew, who had been aboard the space station since August. Just last week, their replacements arrived at the ISS via their own SpaceX capsule.
As they bid farewell to their home in space, Moghbeli radioed a message to those remaining on the station, jokingly mentioning they left behind some peanut butter and tortillas. NASA's Loral O’Hara, who will remain on the station for a few more weeks, expressed her gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.
Before departing, Andreas Mogensen shared his excitement about returning to Earth, expressing his anticipation of hearing birds singing and craving crunchy food.
NASA always ensures multiple travel options for astronauts, especially in case of any issues with rockets. Boeing is expected to start offering astronaut transportation services soon, with a test flight scheduled for early May.
