Google Celebrates Upcoming Solar Eclipse with Search Animation: Here's How to Watch It

Google is getting in on the excitement surrounding the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8. If you type "solar eclipse" into the search bar, you'll see a neat animation showing the moon moving in front of the sun.

This animation is a simple way to preview what the total solar eclipse will look like. Only certain parts of the United States, Mexico, and Canada will get to see the full eclipse, where the moon completely covers the sun. Other areas, like parts of the Caribbean, Colombia, and Spain, will experience a partial eclipse, where only part of the sun is covered by the moon. Unfortunately, people in India and other parts of Asia won't be able to see the eclipse at all.

But Google's animation is just one of the fun surprises you can find on their search engine. Try typing "do a barrel roll" to see the results spin, or search "flip a coin" or "roll dice" for some random fun.
