Mission director Tomy Joseph expressed pride in GSLV's transformation, likening it to a maturing and disciplined individual. The successful launch has boosted ISRO's confidence as it prepares for the upcoming launch of the earth observation satellite NISAR, a joint venture with NASA.

Chairperson S Somanath echoed Joseph's sentiments, emphasizing the agency's increased faith in GSLV. Saturday's launch not only went according to plan but also carried an extra 50 kg payload to a higher orbit, extending the satellite's lifespan by three months.

M Sankaran, Director of UR Rao Satellite Centre, highlighted the significance of utilizing the GSLV's additional capacity for a larger satellite, marking a milestone in the rocket's development.

With each successful mission, ISRO continues to solidify its position as a leader in space exploration, demonstrating the remarkable evolution of the GSLV from a "naughty boy" to a dependable launch vehicle.
