Microsoft is launching a big update called 'Moment 5' for Windows 11, packed with fresh features and enhancements.

One highlight is the expanded capabilities of Copilot, the AI assistant in Windows. With the update, Copilot can now do more tasks like activating battery saver mode, launching accessibility tools like Narrator or Magnifier, showing available Wi-Fi networks, checking storage space, and clearing the recycle bin, all through simple conversation.

The Photos app is getting a boost with Generative Erase, a new feature that lets you easily remove unwanted objects from your photos just by selecting them. Microsoft's video editor Clipchamp also gains a handy feature to automatically remove awkward pauses and silences from videos.

Several other built-in apps in Windows 11 are getting upgrades too. The Widgets board gets more customization options, including the ability to turn off the "Microsoft Start" feed, making it fully tailored to your interests.

Snap, the feature that helps you resize app windows, is now smarter. It remembers your frequently used snap layouts and suggests them automatically for your convenience.

For those using Phone Link, the connection between Windows 11 and Android phones, there are some cool additions. You can now access recent photos from your phone directly on your PC and even use your Android camera as a webcam for video calls.

Accessibility gets a boost with Voice Shortcuts, allowing users to create custom voice commands to automate multiple tasks within Windows. For instance, you could create a shortcut to open a website and perform other actions with just a voice command.

These updates will first roll out to Windows Insiders for testing before becoming available to all users. With these new features, Windows 11 aims to make your digital experience smoother and more efficient.
