Reliance Jio has launched a new data pack for cricket lovers who need extra data on match days. For just Rs 49, you get 25 GB of 4G data valid for 24 hours. Although it's advertised as unlimited data, the speed slows down to 64Kbps after you use up the 25 GB due to Fair Usage Policy (FUP).

This special plan, known as the "Cricket Plan," is perfect for streaming the ongoing TATA IPL 2024 on your smartphone. You can also use your laptop or smart TV by connecting them through Hotspot to enjoy IPL matches in up to 4K resolution.
Airtel and Vi also offer similar plans for Rs 49. However, Airtel provides 20 GB of 4G data for one day, while Vi offers only 6 GB, which is much less than what Jio and Airtel offer.
Keep in mind that this plan is solely for data with no calling or SMS benefits, and it's valid for only 24 hours with no option to carry over unused data. If you have a 5G smartphone and are a subscriber of Airtel or Jio, you might not need these plans as both companies offer free unlimited 5G data in many cities.
Jio also offers a Rs 222 plan, providing 50 GB of data with the validity of your regular plan. To use this plan, you need a base plan with additional validity. Similarly, Airtel offers a Rs 301 plan with 50 GB of 4G data and a Wynk Premium music subscription.
